What is the best website for clothing designer and vintage of the value of the examination?

I really do not know anything about designer labels or vintage, but I am someone help sell some used clothes and bags on eBay, alleged designer / vintage / both (ie, an older handbag, Gucci, Peck and Peck, a coat, some Izod and Lacoste sweater and says tennis clothes, etc,) and I want to be able to verify their authenticity, age and worth, before I they list. Can anyone recommend some good websites or other ways that I can verify this?

I would just check ebay To recommend where you might see if someone is selling similar costs get an approximate or go to the designer's page to see what they sell.
