Is designer stuff cheaper in Europe?

I'm the Netherlands to Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and later in this year, and I'm asking, is it possible, designer items (handbags, sunglasses, clothing, etc.) in their countries of origin (ie Armani in Italy … I think that's where it came from anyway) get?
