Should I or my portfolio in my purse in the trunk?
I am from Canada and traveling to Italy this summer. I am looking for a job teaching ESL I Once there, settle. I took an ESL course before and I'll bring my portfolio with me with all my lesson plans, certificate, floppy disks, cassette recording for listening and so on. Do you think it is a good idea for me to my portfolio in my purse or in my luggage? Would you happen to know whether at the airport they give I would be any problems?
A soft-sided briefcase looks professional and can double as a purse / bag on. Never push objects in checked luggage that you can not afford to be without during your trip. My briefcase bag never caused a problem. You can X-ray, but if they want to look, it opens up quite well with the extension that they are looking to waste quickly & easily in less time with you to safety.
