Is this age discrimination?

I am 14, today was my last day at school before the holidays (Sun were all in school uniform) and during down my street, a group of us (about 8 of us) went to our local Tesco. Half of us went to the section to drink and buy a coke, when a security guard said to us School Bags "Take Off Your leave them outside," having heard them do before this, I was reluctant, and asked him why, he just smiled. I persisted to ask, you would ask a woman to take off your bag and leave it outside? He just said: It is not the point. I personally believe that we were picked on, being seen as thieves because we where in school uniform. Is that age discrimination does not? Thanks for reading.

I can understand where you come from, but the bag limit is all over. This restriction is not limited only to you personally. If I at age 23y walk into a store with a backpack, they would also have by and much to my wallet, ask me to get it done behind the counter or outdoors with a friend etc. .. This is a very sensible way and legal for the store to get by with theft for lost profits. Please do not take it personally because it not you but those who choose to use their larger bags to steal.
